Privacy Policy for Pixel Match

Last updated: July 28, 2026

Pixel Match is developed and published by Kose Studio ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, shared, and deleted when you use the Pixel Match mobile game.

Pixel Match stores most gameplay information locally on your device. The app also uses Google and Firebase services for advertising, analytics, crash reporting, purchases, security, and the global leaderboard.

Pixel Match does not require an email address, password, phone number, postal address, or social-media account. When you participate in the global leaderboard, the app creates an anonymous Firebase account and stores a leaderboard profile associated with that account.

Information We Collect and Use

Global Leaderboard and Anonymous Firebase Account

Pixel Match uses Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore to provide its global leaderboard.

When a leaderboard profile is created, the app may collect and store:

Your leaderboard nickname, highest completed level, and rank may be visible to other Pixel Match players. Your Firebase User ID is used internally to identify and manage your leaderboard profile and is not intentionally displayed publicly.

The anonymous Firebase account does not require an email address, password, phone number, or social login. It is used to associate the installed game with its leaderboard profile.

Firebase Authentication and related security services may also process technical information such as IP addresses, device or app information, authentication tokens, user-agent information, and security signals to operate the service, prevent abuse, and protect leaderboard data.

Firebase App Check and Play Integrity

Pixel Match may use Firebase App Check and Google Play Integrity to confirm that requests are coming from a legitimate installation of the app. These services may process app, device, installation, integrity, and security-related information to reduce unauthorized access, automated abuse, cheating, and fraudulent leaderboard activity.

Advertising

Pixel Match uses Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements.

Google Mobile Ads may automatically collect or process information such as:

This information may be used to deliver, measure, personalize, limit, and protect advertising, generate reports, prevent fraud, and improve advertising services.

Depending on your location, age-related settings, consent status, and privacy choices, advertisements may be personalized, non-personalized, or limited.

Where required, Pixel Match uses Google's consent-management system to request and manage advertising consent. Available choices can be reviewed through the Privacy Choices button in the app's Settings menu.

Analytics

Pixel Match uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is used and to improve gameplay, level balance, stability, performance, features, and user experience.

Analytics information may include:

Analytics data is generally used in aggregated reports. We do not intentionally send your leaderboard nickname or personal contact information as an analytics event parameter.

Crash Reporting and Diagnostics

Pixel Match uses Firebase Crashlytics to identify crashes, errors, freezes, and technical problems.

Crash and diagnostic reports may include:

We do not intentionally include your name, email address, phone number, payment-card information, or other personal contact information in Crashlytics reports.

In-App Purchases

In-app purchases are processed through Google Play Billing. Google handles payment authorization and processing. Pixel Match does not receive or store your full payment-card details.

The app may receive and locally store limited purchase information, such as:

This information is used to deliver purchases, prevent duplicate rewards, verify transaction results, and recover interrupted purchases.

Local Game Data

Most gameplay information is stored locally on your device. This may include:

Pixel Match does not currently provide a complete account-based cloud-save system for local gameplay progress.

Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app may permanently remove locally stored progress, currency, boosters, settings, and consumable purchase content that has already been delivered.

How Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal information.

Information may be processed by service providers that help operate Pixel Match, including:

These providers process information according to their own privacy policies, terms, service settings, and legal obligations.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to:

You can review Google's privacy practices at: Google Privacy Policy .

Additional Firebase privacy information is available at: Privacy and Security in Firebase .

Data Retention

Local gameplay information remains on your device until it is removed by clearing the app's storage, uninstalling the app, or using an applicable in-app reset feature.

Leaderboard profile information remains in Firebase until the profile is deleted, the service is discontinued, or retention is otherwise required for security, fraud prevention, backup, legal, or operational purposes.

Analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, billing, integrity, and diagnostic information is retained according to the settings, retention periods, and policies of the applicable Google or Firebase service.

Aggregated, de-identified, security-related, or backup information that can no longer reasonably be connected to your leaderboard profile may be retained where permitted or required.

Leaderboard Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your Pixel Match leaderboard profile from inside the app:

  1. Open Pixel Match.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Select Delete Leaderboard Profile.
  4. Confirm the deletion.

This deletes the associated Cloud Firestore leaderboard profile and anonymous Firebase Authentication account.

You can also request deletion without using the app by visiting:

Pixel Match Account and Data Deletion

Leaderboard deletion removes server-side leaderboard data, including the nickname, Firebase User ID, leaderboard progress, and associated profile timestamps.

Leaderboard deletion does not remotely erase gameplay information that remains stored only on your device. You may continue playing locally, and you may create a new leaderboard profile later using the local game progress available on your device.

To remove local gameplay information, clear Pixel Match's app storage through your device settings or uninstall the app.

Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on your country or region, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent.

You can:

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures and rely on established service providers to protect information.

Data transmitted between Pixel Match and Google or Firebase services is generally protected using encrypted network connections. Firebase security rules, authentication, app-integrity checks, and other technical controls may be used to restrict unauthorized access.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

International Data Processing

Google, Firebase, and their service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Their processing is governed by applicable privacy policies, contractual commitments, and legal safeguards.

Children's Privacy

Pixel Match is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children under 13 or the applicable minimum age in their country.

We do not knowingly ask children to provide an email address, phone number, postal address, payment-card information, or other personal contact details.

A leaderboard nickname should not contain a child's full name, contact information, or other sensitive personal information.

If you believe that a child has submitted personal information through Pixel Match, contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete the information.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Pixel Match, its features, third-party services, legal requirements, or data-handling practices change.

The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
